Deputy PM SOK Chenda Sophea and UN Official Discuss Future Initiatives

Phnom Penh, June 25, 2024: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, SOK Chenda Sophea, convened with Joseph Scheuer, the United Nations Resident Coordinator to Cambodia, on June 24, 2024, at the Ministry. The meeting centered on strategic discussions about Cambodia's preparations for the upcoming Future Summit, set to take place in New York in September 2024.

During the meeting, both officials explored ways to enhance cooperation between the Royal Government of Cambodia and the United Nations Country Team. The discussions aimed at addressing contemporary challenges and achieving mutual goals for the betterment of future generations.
